Executive Search (Retained)
Executive Search is a specialized service to identify and recruit highly qualified individuals for senior level and executive roles. Fee structure – The overall fee for retained search is 30% of the candidate’s estimated first year compensation. Payments are due to Afton Consulting Group in three installments. The first ⅓ is due at the start of the search. The second ⅓ is due 30 days later and the final ⅓ is due at 60 days or when the candidate is hired (whichever comes first).
Afton Consulting Group is proud to also offer cotainer searches for our clients. A Cotainer search is typically used for key individual contributor roles and mid-management positions. We conduct this type of search using a very similar methodology to our retained search. The fee structure shows our client’s sincerity in filling the role and exudes pressure upon our firm to conduct a successful search.
Fee structure – The overall fee for the cotainer search is 25% of the candidate’s estimated first year compensation. One third of the expected fee is due at the start of the search. The remaining fee is contingent upon Afton Consulting Group filling the position and not due until the candidate has started.
A contingency search is typically engaged for hard to fill individual contributor to supervisory level positions. High levels of competition necessitate that speed be of the essence in contingency search. Knowing that quality is still the most important metric, Afton Consulting Group makes a commitment that all of their candidates have been pre-screened and certified as interested and qualified for the role.
Fee structure – The overall fee for a contingency search is 25% of the candidate’s estimated first year compensation. The entire fee is contingent upon Afton Consulting Group filling the position and no money is due until the candidate has started.
